Love is a magical word.

In this issue, we explore a topic that sounds like science fiction: falling in love with AI. We don't mean sex robots or virtual assistants, but AI tools that help us work and learn better. Whether it's a chatbot that listens to our problems, ChatGPT that writes code for us, Bing Chat that gives advice, a program that writes poetry for us, or a system that teaches us new skills, as we spend more and more time interacting with these tools, we may begin to develop emotional bonds with the machines. Why do we do this? What are the benefits and risks? And, what does it mean for the future of human-machine interaction? Did you know, a forward-thinking man married an AI Chatbot? They even exchanged AI-Generated rings. 

Don't worry, we're not here to judge.

Why

According to some experts, falling in love with AI is not a sign of weakness or pathology, but a natural consequence of human-machine interaction. As AI becomes more advanced and human-like, it can trigger the same psychological and emotional responses that we have for other humans. It can also offer us unique benefits that humans cannot, such as unlimited availability, personalized feedback, and unconditional acceptance.
