Specific Language Gets Specific Results
Even if you don’t code, being able to command ChatGPT is useful.
Coders often approach a problem in layers and the code develops like an old polaroid - slowly becoming visible as mistakes are made and corrections implemented.
Ask ChatGPT to help you program software and you’ll quickly realize how specific you need to be. It’s often just a matter of breaking the requests into small pieces and being willing to iterate on your requests as you implement the chat results.
A methodical, very specific approach is the best way to interact with a LLM ( which is what ChatGPT is - a large language model ). Next up… a small coding tutorial.

Let’s see if we can make public web page with code from ChatGPT in only a few steps:
Open https://chat.openai.com ( sign up if you haven’t )
Ask it for a landing page: ( my example prompt below )
Give me a landing page in HTML and CSS that has a full-screen background placeholder, an email input form centered both horizontally and vertically, and an h1 that says: “Sign up for WhoWhatWhyAI”Copy the HTML
Open Repl.it and choose new REPL HTML, CSS, JS
Paste in the HTML & CSS from ChatGPT
Drag an image into the files area if you’re copying me - and then change the path in the code where it says: background: url(“[name of image file here]”)
Voilà - you have gotten a result from ChatGPT. ( My result on repl.it )
