Yifan Goh, an indiepreneur working on AI & SaaS startups. He had a few misses and one hit so far. :D
What
OurBabyAI,👶 is a tool that uses artificial intelligence to create a couple's future baby images.
Why
He built his product out of a shower thought one day for fun and was surprised that people wanted what he made. He didn't really have a strong why to building the product but he enjoys tinkering with AI tech to see what could be created. He used Midjourney and some other image-processing tech to build the product.

Yifan Goh: I got started after being inspired by all the big indie makers out there building AI products. One of them being Danny Postma. I think it's really fulfilling and fun to make something people want. It's a feeling that you can't get from working a job. I will continue to make innovative products for as long as I can. :)
What are some of the current trends or developments in the field of AI that excite you or interest you the most?
I think every sub-field of generative AI is really exciting because it can create new content that we have never imagined before. Self-driving cars are also really exciting because they offer potential benefits such as reduced accidents, optimized traffic flow, and increased accessibility.
What is the most surprising or fascinating thing that you have learned from working with AI?
Generative creativity: AI has demonstrated the capability to generate new and creative content, such as music, art, or text. It can mimic various artistic styles, compose unique melodies, and even write human-like narratives. Witnessing machines exhibiting a level of creativity is something that I find very fascinating.

Some advice for budding entrepreneurs: Never assume anything, and always test everything. If you think your startup idea is stupid, it probably isn't. Even if you fail, please don't give up.
