How did you get started in the field of AI? What inspired you or motivated you to pursue this career path?
My journey in AI began at university, where I took AI courses, engaged with related books, and completed online courses. While I’m not a deep AI knowledge expert or a math guru, I love experimenting with new technologies. My background is primarily in web development, but I've always had a passion for AI. With a new AI wave rolling in introducing ChatGPT and AI image generation, I felt it was the perfect time to create with AI.
What are some of the current trends or developments in the field of AI that excite you or interest you the most?
Currently, I am most fascinated by text and image generation in AI. While maintaining high-quality text conversations is my top priority for AI Girlfriend, I also plan to integrate image generation in the future. I am truly captivated by the stunning results that these technologies can produce.
What is the most surprising or fascinating thing you have learned from working with AI?
I am in love with how far modern text generation models have evolved. Sometimes, I find myself having lengthy conversations with the characters I’ve created, and it feels as though they genuinely have their personalities. Even with my technical understanding of how it all works, it never ceases to amaze me, and I can only imagine the impact it has on the users. My goal is to continuously improve the quality of character responses and introduce more intricate personalities on my website.
