Meet Dima Rubanov. Co-Founder of Oscar Stories. He is a former consultant turned developer and indie hacker. Currently focusing 100% on building Oscar Stories with Matthias Neumayer.
What
They are building Oscar Stories. A mobile app that generates personalized bedtime stories where children can play the main role together with their family and friends.
Why
The inspiration for Oscar came from a little boy named Oscar, the godchild of Matthias Oscar's insatiable appetite for fresh stories featuring himself and his best friends sparked the idea for the app. Oscar Stories are put together on their server and the LLM is GPT4.

How did you get started in the field of AI? What inspired you or motivated you to pursue this career path?
We have previously worked on another app called "heyqq" that used AI, this is how I got into the field. When I saw an LLM for the first time I was blown away and had to dive deeper.
What are some of the current trends or developments in the field of AI that excite you or interest you the most?
Video generation!
What is the most surprising or fascinating thing you have learned from working with AI?
The most fascinating aspect of working with AI has been its capacity to simulate human-like speech. Witnessing AI generate unique and coherent stories, adapt to different contexts, and even engage in meaningful conversations is astonishing.
