We love exploring this exciting field and hope you'll find this issue both fun and informative. So let's dive in and discover the amazing potential of AI together!
Who
Mark Zuckerberg, the man behind Facebook, is making big moves in the world of AI. He just announced Llama 3, the latest and greatest version of Meta's open-source language model. In simple terms, Llama 3 is like a super-smart AI that can understand & generate human-like text and can handle incredibly complex tasks.
Llama 3 is available across all of Meta's platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. This means that over 3 billion people worldwide will have access to this cutting-edge AI technology in their daily lives.
So, how will this affect us? Imagine having a virtual assistant that can understand your questions and provide helpful, accurate answers instantly.
Zuckerberg's ambitious plan to bring advanced AI to the masses could change the way we communicate, work, and access information. As Llama 3 rolls out across Meta's platforms, we can expect to see AI becoming an increasingly integral part of our daily lives, making things more convenient and efficient.
Brian & Zeng💭: It's going to be a wild ride watching Elon Musk's Grok and Mark Zuckerberg's Meta AI duke it out in the AI arena.
What
Microsoft just dropped VASA-1 which can make images sing and talk. This is fun. How will you use it?
Udio - a new AI music generator. It is free for everyone. You can paste your lyrics or generate some instrumental tracks. Download the audio or video when you are done. Everyone can make music now! Woohoo. Check out the Lo-Fi we made together.
Stable LM 2 12B consists of two robust 12 billion parameter language models that have undergone training on multilingual datasets spanning seven languages: English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Portuguese, and Dutch. The pair includes a base model as well as a variant that has been fine-tuned using instruction data to enhance its performance on guided tasks.
Stability AI just launched Stable Diffusion 3. Developers can use it via API at the moment. It can generate text and understand prompts better. The WhoWhatWhyAI image above was made with SD 3.
Generate a website or app with AI using Create. Just tell the AI what kind of app you wish to create, it will generate for you. You can edit and have the AI generate for you again.

Why
With what we see in VASA-1, we have no reason not to embrace AI and learn what it can do. Everything has 2 sides. This can be a dangerous tool for some people as it can be used for scams and cause misleading information in some important decisions, such as elections.
Ai gone wrong😱
